Washington Township Historical Society’s Union Schoolhouse/Museum, Union Church Ruins & Cemetery and the Washington Township Land Trust’s Obadiah LaTourette Grist Mill will be part of THE PATHWAYS OF HISTORY 8th Annual Tour of Historic Places. The Society invites you to begin your tour here in Long Valley. Stop in for tours of the Museum/Schoolhouse and tour the historic Union Cemetery dating back to the early days of the settlement of Washington Township. Then stop over at a new addition to the tour this year. Visit the Washington Township Land Trust’s Obadiah LaTourette Grist Mill at 12 East Mill Road and learn about one of the only Grist Mills with its original equipment intact and about the important economic contributions the Mill made to Long Valley. Then, pick up a Pathways brochure and continue the tour.
