About the Self-Guided Tour
The Washington Township Historical Society (WTHS) has launched the Self-Guided Walking Tour with the goal of attracting history enthusiasts, regional tourists, and day-trip visitors seeking commemorative experiences in New Jersey.
The Self-Guided Walking Tour features an interactive digital map highlighting historic properties that existed 250 years ago in German Valley. Visitors may use their mobile devices to read written descriptions and view images, and/or hear audio narrations of each site. Forthcoming written and audio are planned in Spanish, and German.
